Discovering the nature of nature:
Exploration, Exploitation, Preservation

For my Advanced Typography class, I was assigned with the challenge to create a book with all of my own content (subject, text, and images) around the theme "Exploration, Exploitation, Preservation". I chose to focus my content on Fermilab because I always wanted to explore the facility to learn more about it. I focused on the percieved exploitation, first to the Native Americans who inhabited the land and then to the suburb that got demolished to make way for the new research facility. I then focus on how Fermilab is rectifing this by conducting valuable scientific research and by bringing back the native prairie that once thrived in the area.
